The standing long jump, also known as the standing broad jump, is an athletics event. Merco test pad for standing long jump is ideal piece of equipment for training. It is made of 3,5 mm thick and heavy rubber that absorbs impacts and noise, has got anti-slip surface, is UV resistance, non-flammable, non-toxic, odorless and offers easy for maintenance. We offer this pad in red or green color. The pad has got dimensions of 3,5 x 1 m, with a scale from 50 to 300 cm. In performing the standing long jump, the jumper stands at a line marked on the ground with the feet slightly apart. The athlete takes off and lands using both feet, swinging the arms and bending the knees to provide forward drive. In Olympic rules, the measurement used was the longest of three tries. The jump must be repeated if the athlete falls back or takes a step at take-off.. You can compare your performance with our performance chart, which we placed to images.
