Product description

Zeolite is a volcanic silica mineral with a microporous structure, functioning as a natural filter that attracts heavy metals, toxins and harmful substances in general. It is used in filtration for swimming pools and ponds, the pores of zeolite can capture more dirt than sand, in addition, it removes odors from the water and optimizes its PH.

Zeolite also works great directly in the pond, mainly by absorbing nutrients (e.g. ammonia) and organic impurities that are key to algae growth, and supports the development of beneficial microorganisms that also contribute to water purification. The network of pores on its surface helps maintain beneficial bacteria, which can then multiply inside and ensure a stable environment without algae and undesirable substances.

This unique natural rock will create the ideal climate and aesthetic appearance of your biotope. However, keep in mind that the lifespan of zeolite is 3 to 5 years and then the rock must be replaced or regenerated with a sodium chloride solution.
